These are short videos created by Jim Andrews using dbCinema, a graphic synthesizer he wrote in Adobe Director. In dbCinema, 'brushes' sample from a set of specified images--in this case, visual poetry by Adeena Karasick and images for her show Salomé: Woman of Valor. The dbCinema 'brushes' use those samples as 'paint'. The videos appear in Adeena's performance of that show. The first video is a concatenation of the short ones, most of which are less than a minute in length. Think of them as verses in a visual poem.
