I couldn’t remember the exact chronology, but hopper in one form or another is now 28 years old if the date on this doc is accurate (it should be pretty close).

The list is old enough that when Macromedia turned off the original hopper development listserv and I set up the original form of hopper-ex, it was running on a Mac Centris I’d set up with a a dedicated dial-up line to act as my web and mail server in my office.
