Jheung’s artistic practice focusses in the experiential. She is involved in continuous experimentation and investigation of perceptual reality in the realm of social urban movement. Installations she constructed are often interactive, rendered in a form that propels the audience into a sensory journey. Navigating the work is meant to inspire reflection, contemplation and generate new perspectives.

By organizing stimulating environments in public spaces, Jheung instigates situations and exchanges, inviting individuals and groups to participate in collaborative experiences while establishing social dynamic. Strategic interactive games she develops involved scientific data that serve as a vehicle for logical equilibrium in various social conditionings.

Jheung holds an MFA from Pratt Institute, New York and a BFA from University of Calgary. Exhibitions across Canada and abroad, including the 9th Havana Biennial, Para/Site Art space (Hong Kong), Plastique Kinetic Worms (Singapore), Gothenburg Art Museum, Greater Victoria Art Gallery, Surrey Art Gallery, InterAccess Electronic Media and Edmonton Art Gallery etc (currently named Alberta Art Gallery). Jhueng's work has been reviewed and profiled in Canadian Art Magazine, The Globe and Mail and Georgia Straight Magazine featuring her portfolio in interactive media installations.

Currently, she’s pursuing an art base research at Simon Fraser University, SIAT, Phd program.
