[x] Kurzweil is Google Director of Engineering

Hi Ben,

The list is mainly for announcements. About Group of X events. But also 
related things. Announcements about new work, reviews, shows, grants, and so 
on. Kurzweil becoming Google Director of Technology is not any of these, of 
course, but it's a significant event very relevant to computer art.

Occassional discussions are OK as long as they're to the point and 
occassional. I reserve the right to moderate the list.
