Denis Beaubois is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Sydney, 
Australia. He has exhibited and performed internationally, including at 
Tate Modern, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The Museum of 
Contemporary Art Sydney. He has received numerous awards (Bonn 
Videonale, and the Judges special prize for the Internationaler Medien 
kunst pries). His interest in surveillance and individual agency has 
taken many forms. He is best known for performance and video in which he 
interacts with surveillance mechanisms. His captivating work ‘Constant’ 
will be featured in the New Media Gallery exhibition ‘Biometric’, 
opening December 3, 2014. Denis gives fascinating insights into his 
international practice and process.
